The Western Electrical Contractors Education Foundation (WECEF) was pleased to offer the 2026 Frank Vellutini Apprentice Scholarship Award for apprentices enrolled in WECA’s Apprenticeship programs earlier this spring. The application period for this award closed on May 3, 2026. WECEF will announce the winners of the 2026 Frank Vellutini Apprentice Scholarship Award soon.

We recently did an application round for the 2025-26 WECEF Scholarship for Electrician Trainees in January. The winners of this application round are listed below.

WECEF Scholarships benefit apprentices and students whose career pursuits are in the electrical and low voltage fields. WECEF’s scholarship assistance helps them in continuing their education with Western Electrical Contractors Association (WECA).

The Frank Vellutini Memorial Apprenticeship Scholarship awards funds to Apprentices to be used towards the cost of books, tools or other expenses associated with completing their program. The WECEF Scholarship for Electrician Trainees helps those students with awards towards tuition and fees.
