12/15/2009 WECEF Scholarship Program Accepting Applications from WECA-IEC Students through March 11th
The Western Electrical Contractors Education Foundation (WECEF) is currently accepting applications for the next round of awards in its scholarship program for students enrolled in the WECA-IEC Apprenticeship or Electrician Trainee Program. Applications are due by March 11, 2010.
Scholarships are awarded in amounts ranging from $500 to $1,250 per year to be used toward the cost of books, tools, and/or tuition.
WECEF is committed to opening up training opportunities to men and women in the electrical trade. These scholarships are meant to assist people who want to join the electrical trade, but whose opportunities to pursue training are limited by financial hardship.
WECEF is currently accepting applications for those interested in receiving a scholarship for the spring semester for the 2010-11 apprentice class year or the April ET class session in 2009. Click here to download an apprentice application; or click here to download a trainee application.
